Al Jackson

Al Jackson Jr. (1935-1975) was an influential American drummer and a key figure in the genre of soul music. He is best known for his work with the legendary Stax Records house band, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, which played a pivotal role in shaping the Southern soul sound during the 1960s.
